Safety 1st Acella Sport Travel System Pros and Cons
Parents who liked the Safety 1st Acella Sport travel system said this was a terrific stroller. They commented it was easy to handle and maneuver, very lightweight and easy to fold to fit in their cars. Parents indicated the system was easy to assemble taking only 20 minutes to put it together including installing the car base in the car. There was one comment that they liked the way it folded where the wheels stayed down and everything else went up. This kept the seat and fabric out of the dirt. They also stated it was much more stylish than the “plasticy” products from comparable systems in this price range.
Parents who offered negative comments about this Safety 1st travel system reported they did not like the buckle on the car seat. They felt it was too complicated. Some parents didn’t like the polyester fabric and felt the cup holders were too small. (One user reported it held a 20 oz bottle just fine but did not hold the super sized convenience store cups). Another consumer reported that the stroller would fall backwards when they took their child out of it if they had the diaper bag draped over the strollers handle bars. (editors note: Don’t place a heavy object on the handle bar when you are removing the weight from the other end of the stroller for example, your child)
Overall more parents felt this was a very good stroller travel system for the cost.
